The Church keeps watch on the eve of All Saints, preparing to give thanks for all who have died in the faith. We are one communion with the saints, the Church militant on earth and the Church triumphant in heaven, gathered around the one Lord Jesus Christ. The vigil turns our eyes to the faithful who have gone before and to the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting that awaits all who believe.
May we keep watch in hope until the day Christ raises all His saints and brings us with them into the life of the world to come.
